Local Youth Crews

The Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps local youth model engages high school students in a variety of community projects and land-based learning opportunities. Over the summer, youth are led through a community-building experience while exploring potential career and life pathways.

The Future of our land

Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps (ALCC) strives to provide meaningful experiences for Indigenous youth and young adults. In our youth program model, also known as the Hiking Club, we provide local leadership to help guide youth and high school students toward a deeper understanding and relationship with our ancestral lands and lifeways.

ALCC provides Hiking Club opportunities out of three locations: Albuquerque, NM | Acoma, NM | Zuni, NM
